More to love.

Yes, I still believe in Santa, There is more to love in a teddy bear, doll, and a diamond ring/ This a new post, new future, new way to look at things, So much has happened, I lost the house of my dreams to someone else, I gave up my dream of owning my own consignment shop, I look forward to my grandbabies, what else can happen to me. I am healthy, I have a roof over my head, I have my future and my past, I love my beer, and I have my friends and sisters. what more could I ask,

September Sun

PURPLE, ORANGE, BLUE HAZE, MELTING COLORS WITH YELLOW SPOT, GLOWING & SHINING! Sun Set, Sun Rise, Another Day, Another Dollar!

So many great deals in our shop right now, We sold a almost new teal/green sofa & loveseat for $599. We saw two green & pine chairs go out the door to meet their new table friend. We help newly weds with a pine drop down table and two chairs for their first meal in their 1st apt. Do you remember yours? I remember mine 35 years ago, a table I purchased at K-mart probably, chrome and formica top with leather sling seats. He hated it but I loved it. It came from my 2nd apartment, He lived with his mom! So sit down and eat, will ya, with my belly sticking out and my ankles swollen. Next time you can make dinner. HA!

Well back to Purple, Plum, Eggplant ect! I am loving this color on all our new fashion that is coming into the shop. It goes with peach, orange, yellow, red, blue, green, brow &, black. Look at your wardrobe, if you don't have Purple, Come running to Just For You, Too Consignment Shop and get it!. Add some great Plum jewel tone jewelry, too!

After Tax Time

Yes, the Robins are coming back to the Midwest, Still snow on the ground but melting. Spring is coming.
Just finished all the number crunching that comes with tax time. It is always such a stressful time for me. I procrastinate doing the P & L and I still haven't got the hang of Quick Books, so I do things by the old way. After a Long Island Ice Tea, I review the past year and it always holds such great surprises. We moved this past year to a higher lease payment, more room, much better location and added great new consigners. So much has change in six years of doing business. The knowledge, trials and tribulations of retail are always changing and challenging. But we keep on keeping on, Why? To bring the Northwest Ohio area with the best name brands for less. To allow consigners to sell their items in a fabulous store atmosphere. It is a eye opener to learn what worked last year and what didn't. I love writing down the goals for the new years.
This year we will add more jewelry, new "Switch Flops" display, more accessories like purses, wallets and sunglasses. We will continue with TV Advertising and try Radio advertising. We will try to update our Website with buying opportunities, implement more "After Hours Parties", and as always, Add more FUNK! Fashion, Furiture & Funk!

November 12, 2008 My Sister's Birthday

It is my Sister's Birthday, yes my baby sister. I love her so much, she doesn't even understand how much I am so glad she has been in my life and has supported me and loved me. She is wonderful. She used to drive me crazy with her head rolling when I slept with her. Our family was so disfunctional with a drunking father and a mother that refused to believe that anything was wrong. Our two older sister ran away and got married, and we were left alone to deal with the destruction. My mother told me the other day that she only stayed to protect us and give us a good life. Well in her eyes it was a great, good life because she had a life that sucks with a prositution mother and her boyfriend wanting her instead of her mother. Her life really suck, how could she love her mother after all of that. But my life and that of my little sister really felt that is was bad with verbal abuse, sometimes physical abuse, and certainly my mother was abused. But life goes on and my kids had a better life, and my mother feels that she gaves us a better life because she stuck with my father, so life goes one. We all do the best we can with what we have. God watches over us and loves us. So Be it.
